Terms of use
By using FreeCharting (freecharting.com) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Not investment advice
FreeCharting is a charting tool, not a broker or financial adviser. Nothing on the site, including indicators, screeners, patterns, tools and articles, is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading involves risk, and you can lose money. Past performance doesn’t predict future results. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Market data and accuracy
Market data comes from third-party providers under their own terms, and it may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Indicators and calculations are provided for information only and may contain errors.
Your API keys and broker accounts
You are responsible for the API keys you add, for following your data providers’ and brokers’ terms, and for every order you place through a connected account. Use read-only or paper-trading keys where you can.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, overload it, bypass its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, FreeCharting isn’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including trading losses.
Third-party sites and trademarks
Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we don’t control them. Provider and broker names are trademarks of their owners, and FreeCharting isn’t affiliated with any of them.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always on this page. See also the Privacy policy.
