How to add the chart to your site

  1. Pick a data source and type the symbol, for example ETHUSDT on Binance or BTC-USD on Coinbase.
  2. Choose the timeframe, theme, chart type and indicators. The preview updates as you go.
  3. Click Copy code and paste it into your page’s HTML, or into a “Custom HTML” block in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Webflow.

The widget streams live prices straight from the exchange to your visitor’s browser. Nothing runs on your server, and there’s nothing to update.

You can also open this builder from the chart: choose Embed this chart from the download menu to start with the symbol, timeframe and indicators you’re looking at.

Frequently asked questions

Is the chart widget free?

Yes, for personal and commercial sites. There’s no sign-up and no API key. We only ask that you keep the small “by FreeCharting” link under the chart.

Which markets can I embed?

Any crypto pair from Binance, Coinbase, OKX or Kraken, with live prices. Twelve Data’s demo covers Apple (AAPL), EUR/USD and BTC/USD. Other stocks need an API key, which a widget can’t safely hold, so they aren’t available in embeds.

Will it slow down my page?

The code uses loading="lazy", so the chart only loads when a visitor scrolls to it, and it runs in its own frame without touching the rest of your page.

Can visitors interact with it?

Yes. They can scroll back through history, zoom, see prices under the cursor and switch timeframes. The FreeCharting link opens the full chart with drawing tools, alerts and 40 indicators.

Does it work on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Yes. Paste the code into any block that accepts HTML (called “Custom HTML”, “Embed” or “Code” depending on the site builder).
