Reading the F chart
US stocks trade from 9:30 am to 4 pm New York time, and news outside those hours shows up as a gap between one candle and the next. Earnings reports, usually four times a year, often cause the biggest moves on the F chart. Daily and weekly candles show the broader trend; intraday charts help with timing. The 50- and 200-day moving averages are widely watched on stock charts like this one.

Why does the F chart ask for an API key?
Market data is licensed, so providers ask for a key even on free plans. Your key is saved only in your browser and sent only to that provider.
Is the F price real-time?
It depends on your data plan. Many free plans give end-of-day or delayed prices; paid plans and brokerage keys (for example Alpaca or Tradier) can give real-time data.
